Creating opportunities and providing support for students and families
Similar to elementary school PTOs, PACT is a non-profit organization of parents, caregivers and staff working together to build a strong, inclusive community at Maple Grove Middle School.
Every MGMS parent, caregiver and staff member is a member of PACT and can choose in which ways and how much to participate.

Meeting Schedule
PACT meetings are a good opportunity to hear updates from Principal Smith and learn about positive initiatives happening at MGMS.
During the 2023-2024 school year, PACT meetings will be held in the MGMS Media Center and/or via Google Meet.
Meetings will be held from 7:00-8:00 PM followed by a 30 minute work session (as needed) on the following Mondays. Come for any or all of the meeting and work session:
- Sept 18 (in person and online)
- Oct 16 (in person and online)
- Nov 13 (online only)
- Jan 22 (online only)
- Feb 26 (online only)
- April 15 (online only)
- May 20 (in person and online)
What does PACT do?
We lead and support initiatives that focus on the following areas:
1. Promote Purpose & Positive Change
2. Promote a Learning Environment that Celebrates Diversity and Inclusion
3. Promote Effective Communication between Administration and School Families
4. Engage our School Community
5. Fund Capital Improvement & Staff Development Needs
How can you get involved?
Time, donations, advocacy, and leadership are the primary requests, and they show up in a variety of ways.

School and Staff Communication
Emails from the principal, staff members or teachers as well as Schoology alerts sent to all when there’s something to share. Many teachers also use the TalkingPoints app to communicate with families.

Volunteer and Donation Needs
