If your child was between the ages of 5 and 18 on September 1, 2019 and was eligible for free or reduced-price meals during the 2019-20 school year, you could receive $325 per child in Pandemic EBT (P-EBT) benefits. These benefits can help your family buy groceries.
If your children received free/reduced-price meals but you did NOT receive SNAP/MFIP benefits during the distance learning period:
- You will need to apply for the funds by July 31, 2020.
- The benefit is available even if your child received school meals during the distance learning period.
- If you are found eligible, you will receive a card (by US mail) you can use to buy groceries at most local grocery stores.
- Be sure to apply by Friday, July 31, 2020.
If your family was receiving SNAP or MFIP benefits on March 18, 2020: The benefit was automatically added to your EBT card balance and you do not need to apply.
