Important note: Please fill out back-to-school forms online this year.

6th Grade Orientation

Welcome to Maple Grove Middle School—we are excited to have you join us! We invite all sixth graders to participate in WEB (Where Everybody Belongs) orientation this summer.

  • Students with last names beginning with A-K should attend orientation from 9 a.m. to noon on Monday, Aug. 23, in the school gym.
  • Students with last names beginning with L-Z should attend orientation from 9 a.m. to noon on Tuesday, Aug. 24, in the school gym.

Parents/guardians should drop their student off at 9 a.m. at the east end of the building (the community gym entrance). Students will have a morning full of fun activities; they will also receive their schedules and take a tour of the school. Parents/guardians are invited back at 11 a.m. to meet their scholars in the gym and enjoy an ice cream treat.

7th and 8th Grade Orientation for Students New to MGMS

We're glad you're joining us at Maple Grove Middle this year! You and your parents/guardians are invited to orientation from 9 to 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 25, in our school auditorium. Parking is available at the east end of the building, and you can enter through the community gym entrance (look for the signs directing you to the auditorium). At this event, students will meet other new students, receive their schedules, tour the school and enjoy an ice cream treat.

Learning Conferences

If you are not able to make your orientation date, you will have another opportunity to visit school during learning conferences from 4 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 31. At this event, students and families can meet teachers and get an overview for each class. Students are also invited to walk through their schedule to ensure they're ready for the first day of school. If you have any questions, please call the school office at 763-315-7600.

Trimester 1 Schedules for Returning 7th and 8th Graders

Trimester 1 schedules for returning seventh and eighth grade students will be available in StudentVUE. Parents/guardians will receive an email once the schedules are posted.
